タイ王国及びカンボジア王国において現在進行している緊張と苦難の状況に対し、深甚なる憂慮と痛惜の念を表明いたします。この地域において苦難を強いられている方々の姿は、私たちの心に重くのしかかっております。
世界宗教者平和会議（レリジョンズ・フォー・ピース）は、暴力の犠牲となった方々、住まいを追われた方々、そして安全・尊厳・平和を切に希求するすべての人々に対し、衷心より祈りを捧げます。
世界が未曾有の混乱に直面しているこの重大な時にあって、私たちは分断を超えて連帯の道を共に歩むよう求められています。被害の連鎖を生み続けてきた歴史的な傷は、極めて複雑かつ深く根付いたものであり、私たちは誠実さ・謙虚さ・慈悲の心をもって互いに向き合うことが求められています。
タイとカンボジアに広がる聖地や共有の空間は、単なる地理的な地点ではなく、両国の歴史的結びつきと精神的親和性を体現する生きた証であります。これらは不和を助長するために利用されるべきではなく、むしろ連帯と敬意の恒久的象徴として顕彰されるべきものです。
信仰者として、私たちは国境や分断をもたらす思想を超越する倫理的責務を負っています。宗教・文化・国境を超えて共に歩むことにより、私たちは人類共通の尊厳を確認し、理解・協力・恒久平和への架け橋を築くことを誓います。
レリジョンズ・フォー・ピースは、世界最大の諸宗教連合体として、宗教間の連帯が有する変革の力を幾度も目の当たりにしてきました。愛と慈しみ、そして共通の行動が、最も深い断絶すら癒し、万人の繁栄へと至る道を切り拓くことを、私たちは確信しております。
この確信に基づき、我々はすべての当事者に対し、以下を強く要請いたします。
緊張を激化させ、無辜の民に被害を及ぼす一切の行為を直ちに停止し、2025年7月28日の停戦合意を遵守すること
公正かつ恒久的な和平合意の基礎となる恒久停戦に誠実に取り組むこと
外交的及び宗教的な対話を通じて、根本的課題の解決に向けた協議を行うこと
両国を結ぶ共有の文化的・精神的遺産を尊重・保護すること
すべての人々の尊厳と権利を擁護する解決策を協働して構築すること
我らの聖なる誓約が和解の灯火となり、共通の努力が、持続的な連帯・繁栄・平和を実現する変革の力となることを祈念いたします。

It is with deep sorrow and grave concern that we bear witness to the unfolding tensions and suffering affecting our beloved communities in Thailand and Cambodia. The pain endured by our brothers and sisters in this region weighs heavily on our hearts.
At Religions for Peace, we extend our deepest prayers to all victims of violence, to those displaced from their homes, and to every soul yearning for safety, dignity, and peace.
In this critical hour—when our global family faces unprecedented upheaval—we are summoned to rise above division and walk together in solidarity. The historical wounds that perpetuate cycles of harm are complex and deeply rooted, calling us to meet one another with honesty, humility, and compassion.
The sacred sites and shared spaces that span Thailand and Cambodia are more than geographic markers. They are living testaments to our intertwined histories and spiritual kinship. These places must not be misappropriated to fuel discord but rather uplifted as enduring symbols of unity and reverence.
As people of faith, we are entrusted with the moral imperative to transcend borders and ideologies that divide. By coming together—across religions, cultures, and nations—we affirm our shared humanity and commit to building bridges of understanding, cooperation, and lasting peace.
Religions for Peace, as the world’s largest multi-religious coalition, has witnessed the transformative power of interfaith solidarity. Time and again, we have seen how love, compassion, and collective action can heal even the deepest fractures, forging a path toward flourishing for all.
