TF_ Human Trafficking Prevention

Task Force for Human Trafficking Prevention

Human trafficking is one of the important international issues to be addressed. It includes sexual extraction, forced labor, organ trading, child soldiers, domestic works, crime extortion and etc. According to International Labor Organization (ILO), there are more than 40.3 million victims from human trafficking. Sexual extractioin is very serious issue for both high income countries and low income countries, and it is the problem for developed countries such as European countries, the U.S., Japan and Australia. However, there is little consciousness and awareness in Japan because it is rarely covered by Japanese media. RfP Japan will implement the project in collaboration with National chapters of RfP Asia, such as the Philippines and Indonesia where human trafficking victims are numerous.
